3GS mobile - APPLE's recent release

"APPLE" - as known to all, they are the leading producers of the famous 'iphones' and 'ipods'. They are also the innovators of the new advanced Operating Systems (OS).

SAN FRANCISCO,June 8, 2009 - Apple  today introduced the new 3GS mobile phone. The famous 3G mobiles will be soon replaced with these 3GS mobile phones  - hopes the predictors. Compared with the previous 3G iphones, the 3GS phones are twice faster and includes a good performance features.Another one break through is in the price. The rate of the mobile phone is said to be a easily consumable one - its very less for a cellphone which is just$99 (Rs.4630/-indian rupees).

The main features are said to be -

• New 3 megapixel automatic macro focus camera
• Voice control feature
• New built-in digital compass for instant navigation
• A screen reader
• Universal Zoom function
• New iTunes features
• Installed with the recent OS3.0

Features of 3GS iphone - an overview

The new autofocus camera adjusts focus, exposure, color and contrast for the best possible image and includes an automatic macro focus for extra close up shots. With the new “tap to focus” feature, it is simply enough to  touch the display to select an object or area of interest and the camera automatically re-adjusts focus and exposure.

The voice control feature offers hands free operation for both phone and ipod functions. Simply speak the appropriate commands into the built-in microphone or headset microphone to dial by name or number.  With voice control, the favourite music by artist, album or playlist can be directly played and  the Genius feature can be activated by just saying “play more songs like this.

iphones built-in gps automatically displays the coordinates of the users current location. The new built-in digital compass is also integrated within Maps, so it automatically orients any map to the direction the user is facing.

 The royal feature of the 3GS mobile is that it has a screen reader that speaks what appears on the display, enabling visually impaired users to make calls, read email, browse web pages, play music and run applications. The new universal Zoom function magnifies the entire screen, and the White on Black feature reverses the colors on screen to provide higher contrast for people with low vision.

One more unique feature is that it also supports Mono Audio which combines left and right audio channels so that they can be heard in both ear buds for those with hearing loss in one ear.

 It is installed with the recent OS3.0. This OS3.0 is the world’s most advanced mobile operating system with over 100 new features such as Cut, Copy and Paste, MMS, Spotlight Search, landscape keyboard and more. The advanced applications can also be accessed from the Apple's application store.

Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of WorldWide Product Marketing said that  "Apples 3GS is the fastest, most powerful mobile phone into the hands of even more users who want them.” - he continued.

The new arrival will be available in the US on June 19 for a suggested retail price of $199 (US) for the 16GB model and just $299 (US) for the new 32GB model. Beginning June 8, the Apples 3GS will be available for just $99 (US) for the 8GB model. Let us wait for the new arrival...
